Logo Gala
Just wanted to let everyone know that my “Green Over Grey” logo was just featured on a wonderful inspiration gallery called Logo Gala. The site is a great resource for designers and avid fans of logo design. Hop over to the site and take a look some of the talented designers and their feature designs.
This is what the author, Deron Sizemore has to say about the site:
Everyone gets designer’s block from time to time when designing a logo (I know I do) and that’s where LogoGala comes in, to get those creative juices flowing again. LogoGala aims to be an outstanding resource for fresh logo design inspiration and will be showcasing great designs in the gallery for your viewing pleasure.
Its an awesome site that I highly recommended. Keep up the great work Deron.

Have you ever wanted to find out what other types of agency’s are in your area? Ever wanted to know how many agency’s are in your market? Ever wanted to know who is your direct competition? Ever wanted to find all this without spend hours Googleing? Ya, we’ve all done it. Don’t lie.
Well look no future than AgencyPimp. Ya that’s right, AgencyPimp. This is an awesome resources for anyone in the creative field. Its content is basically user run so if you have a suggestion, just send them an email and tell them why. Although they have yet to add uneekGrafix to the list, I still think its ever growing list is fantatsic.
Heres what Keith Streble has to say about AgencyPimp
“In a market with as much opportunity as Chicago, it’s impossible to keep track of all the work that’s available. AgencyPimp aims to benefit art directors, designers, writers and photographers by providing free access to agencies that might just be the perfect fit. All agencies are listed free of charge to create the most comprehensive, unbiased collection available. AgencyPimp is a project created and curated by Chicago-based designer, Keith Streble.”Metropolitan Brewing
I have always been of fan of supporting local business. Hell, I own one, and what better way to get to know your community than getting out there and support their products. This was the case for me a few weeks ago when a friend of mine introduced me to a new up and coming local brewery. Now I know what you thinking- Yes, I did just move here from the square state (Colorado) where there are more craft brewery’s on any given street than places to park your cruiser bike, but I figured I would give this one a chance. Hell, if its bad, I could always just grab an old style to wash it down with! But seriously folks (who drinks old style!) the beer was great, in fact the two other beers that I had that night where great as well. And since then I have gone out and bought more to stock the fridge up with at home. In my eyes you can never have too much of a good thing, right. It’s the American way.
After looking around on their site, here’s what they have to say:
“We’ve always admired the Ravenswood Industrial Corridor. Along the Metra tracks and pretty much dissecting the Ravenswood neighborhood, this area is a unique “urban preserve” of light industrial business. Imagine our amazement when we actually landed a space in the Corridor. Our luck didn’t stop there. Late last summer we discovered that a micro distillery had moved into the space right next to us - in the same building. Yes, you read that right. Koval is our liquor-doppelgänger; a husband/wife team getting a small booze business off the ground. They’ll be producing their fruit brandies and vodkas not soon enough. We’ve been hearing from a surprising number of folks who want to drop by the brewery, take a tour, enjoy some samples. We’re flattered! And frankly, unprepared. We will be setting official visiting hours later in March or early in April. Until then, you’re welcome to join us for the last performances of BEER! This show is kicking so much ass that it’s been extended for two more weekends.”Check them out at a local watering whole near you. And if they don’t stock it, then request it!
Also you can check out the brewery for more info, tasting or a tour. They will be posting up new info on their blog so if you into that then feel free to hop on over.
